two days does not a kingdom build

the past result:

Another semi-decent day in terms of my amateur attempts to work out and stuff.

verdict: the frantic overcompensating prior to crisis.

weight: 197 (-2.?) did I actually burn some calories or just take a massive dump?

step count:

2017.03.01 – 10407 steps. 10k+ steps as often as I can sounds like a decent starting objective.

2017.02.28 – 9500+ steps. A good day. Also 40 pushups.

other count:

2017.03.01 – 55 pushups. 50+ pushups a day is it possible?

2017.02.28 – 40 pushups.

food:

2017.03.01 – mini chicken veggie bowl w/ white rice from flame broiler for lunch; mooshu pork and some szechuan garlic chicken w/ rice for dinner. Didn’t eat enough for lunch, ate too much for dinner. 9/10ths of a can of squirt…need to drink non-caloric drinks…or just water.

summary:

Rome wasn’t build in a day…or 2 days…I don’t want to be Rome, just a skinny fat guy weighing under 175lbs.

the new plan: 

  1. 3miles of jogging/walking 3 times a week (plus 10k+ steps)
  2. work on increasing my daily pushup count (minimum 50 a day)
  3. stay on top of work (close the deal and make moneyzzz)
  4. don’t degen (uh-oh vegas this weekend…)
  5. make the moneys (see above)

precipice

the past result:

Whatever I have done in the past is terrible. Lack of diet control, lack of exercise control, degenning like a madman, hardly working instead of working hard, half-truths and sophistries. This all needs to end

verdict: less than a pound away from utter depravity

weight: right under 200 lbs…I have been that bad indeed.

step count:

summary:

If I don’t commit to a better diet and better management of myself, this will be a terrible year.

the new plan: 

  1. 3miles of jogging/walking 3 times a week
  2. work on increasing my daily pushup count (minimum 25 a day, hopefully minimum of 50 per day once I can get there)
  3. stay on top of work
  4. don’t degen
  5. make the moneys

gorging and running

the past result:

  1. walk/jog – yes
  2. pushup/bodyweight exercises – 1/2
  3. laundry – yes
  4. cleaning – no
  5. eat healthy??!? or not alot – no
  6. relax it’s Sunday -yes, also monday yes but that’s bad

verdict: i’m no longer a vegetable, but i eat like a panda…all day long

weight: 194.8lbs (guess that’s an improvement, but maybe i just pooped)

step count:

2/19 – 5841 (forgot to carry my phone while meandering a couple laps)

2/20 – 5109 (less steps but felt like a better workout…might’ve been the 30+ pushups)

summary:

Del taco chicken rollers, first-time taiwanese instant beef noodles, free starbucks gouda cheese and bacon slider, pho, new york style pizza…it’s been 2 days of non-stop gorging while frantically trying and failing to counter it was some half-hearted jogging/walking and a few pushups.

the new plan: 

  1. walk/jog/pushups/bodyweight exercises
  2. be a good worker (bleh)
  3. no degen no degen no degen
  4. can’t possibly eat more, so eating less is the only option?
  5. try to drop a couple pounds before my nephew’s 1st…
  6. be more social?

the past result:

  1. haircut
  2. ten ren’s large jasmine milk green tea with 1/4 sugar; beef rolls; popcorn chicken (mild)
  3. half a portion of Fu Lin’s black bean noodles
  4. half a portion of Fu Lin’s garlic fried fish
  5. 3-5 packs of Kellogg’s fruity snacks
  6. couple handfuls of Cheez-its
  7. no workouts of any kind

verdict: haircut was good, everything else terrible

weight: 195lbs (lowest was 181; 195 is the highest this year, i’m peaking! T_T)

the plan: 

  1. walk/jog
  2. pushup/bodyweight exercises
  3. laundry
  4. cleaning
  5. eat healthy??!? or not alot
  6. relax it’s Sunday
